A solution of 4-(3-chloro-1,2,4-triazin-5-yl)-3-methylphenol (60 mg, 0.27 mmol), benzothiazol-2-yl-methylamine (89 mg, 0.54 mmol), pyridine (28 muL, 0.32 mmol) in anhydrous acetonitrile (0.4 mL) was stirred at 85C overnight. ESI-MS m/z 350 (M+H)+. 1H NMR (CDCl3), delta (ppm): 8.78 (s, 1H), 7.97 (d, J = 8.1 Hz, 1H), 7.83 (d, J = 8.1 Hz, 1H), 7.48 (t, J = 7.5 Hz, 1H), 7.39-7.31 (m, 2H), 6.77-6.75 (m, 2H), 6.56 (br s, 1H), 5.16 (s, 2H), 2.30 (s, 3H).
