After 1 h, added a solution of 42b (500 mg, 2.2 mmol) in 5 mL of THF. The reaction was allowed to warm to rt and stirred at for 1 hr. The reaction was quenched with water and extracted 2×EtOAC. The EtOAc extracts were dried over MgSO4, concentrated by rotary evaporator, and chromatographed on SiO2 using 50% hexanes in EtOAc then pure EtOAC to give 336 mg (50%) of 42c. MS found: (M+H)+=308.
