In a suspension of 6-bromobenzo[dlthiazol-2-amine (500 mg, 2.2 mmol), 4,4,4?,4?,5,5,5?,5?-octamethyl-2,2?-bi( 1 ,3,2-dioxaborolane) (1.1 g, 4.4 mmol), Pd(dppf)C12 (161 mg, 0.2 mmol) and KOAc (754 mg, 7.7 mmol) in 20 mL of dioxane was stirred at 100 C under N2 overnight.
