The vessel was cooled to room temperature, diluted with water and filtered. Following drying on a buchner funnel, 6-(benzo[d]thiazol-6-ylamino)-4- ((lS,2S)-2,3-dihydroxy-l-phenylpropylamino)nicotinonitrile (0.122 g, 0.292 mmol, 82 percent yield) was collected as a yellowish solid. LC-MS (m/z, M+l= 418), Waters sunfire 4.6x50mm C18 5um 4 min/1 min hold time 0-100percent (A-B) A=10percent MeOH-90percent water – 0.1percentTFA, B=90percent MeOH-10percent water – 0.1percentTFA RT= 2.06.
